Polsinelli is seeking a mid to senior level associate to join our Health Care Litigation & Disputes practice group in our Los Angeles office. Interested candidates should have excellent academic credentials, experience in a law firm or similar environment and superior writing, communication, and problem-solving skills.The ideal candidates will possess 4 to 6 years of experience in health care litigation, medical malpractice defense, or other relevant litigation experience. Strong experience in federal and state court practice and procedure as well as alternative dispute resolution. Substantive experience with the False Claims Act, Stark Law, licensing inquiries, payor reimbursement, and hospital issues, is a plus.
Polsinelli is particularly interested in candidates who have or are striving to develop the capability to independently manage key aspects of litigation work, including discovery and motion practice, as well as to gain trial experience. Compensation: Salary will range between $290,000 - $420,000, annually, depending on experience. A discretionary bonus may also be available based on performance.
