Job Summary:Landry, Mazzeo, Dembinski & Stevens, P.C., is an established civil litigation firm with offices in Farmington Hills, Michigan. We are seeking an experienced attorney for an Of Counsel engagement on a part-time basis, working 5 to 20 hours per week depending on case volume and mutual availability.
This is an excellent opportunity for a seasoned litigator seeking flexible, substantive work — whether winding down a full-time practice, exploring semi-retirement, or supplementing an independent practice.
What You'll Do:
Depending on experience and interest, work may include drafting and review of discovery, pleadings, motions, and briefs; handling depositions; and coverage at hearings. The scope is flexible and tailored to the right candidate.
Qualifications:
- 15+ years of civil litigation experience in insurance defense, personal injury, or both
- Active Michigan State Bar membership in good standing
- Demonstrated ability to work independently with minimal supervision
- Strong written and oral advocacy skills
- Experience in one or more of the following is a plus: first and third-party auto, premises liability, municipal/governmental immunity, construction defect, fire loss subrogation, or coverage analysis
