Description:
Graves Thomas Injury Law Group is seeking a talented litigation attorney with two to five years of experience to join our growing personal injury practice.This is an opportunity for an attorney who wants meaningful responsibility, direct client involvement, and hands-on litigation experience—not simply a position reviewing files or handling isolated assignments. The attorney will work closely with two Florida Bar Board Certified Civil Trial Lawyers and participate in cases from the filing of suit through trial.
Responsibilities include:
- Managing a caseload of personal injury matters in litigation
- Drafting pleadings, motions, discovery, and legal memoranda
- Taking and defending depositions
- Preparing clients and witnesses for testimony
- Attending mediations, hearings, and case-management conferences
- Working with medical providers and expert witnesses
- Participating in trial preparation and trials
- Maintaining consistent, personal communication with clients
Qualifications:
- Active membership in good standing with The Florida Bar
- Two to five years of civil litigation experience
- Strong legal writing, research, and advocacy skills
- Experience taking depositions and handling court hearings
- Excellent judgment, organization, and client-communication skill
- A genuine interest in developing as a plaintiff's trial lawyer
- Personal injury experience is preferred
