Overview:We are seeking a highly motivated and intellectually curious Litigation Attorney to join our growing legal team. This position is ideal for a recent law school graduate or an attorney looking to transition into litigation from another practice area.
No prior litigation experience is required. We are willing to train the right candidate, someone who is sharp, detail-oriented, eager to learn, and ready to take ownership of their work.
What You'll Do:
- Assist with court hearings, trials, and other litigation proceedings
- Conduct legal research and draft pleadings, motions, and discovery
- Prepare deposition outlines and assist with trial preparation
- Collaborate directly with clients and senior attorneys on case strategy
- Participate in settlement discussions and negotiations
- Communicate with opposing counsel and court personnel
- Maintain organized case files and meet litigation deadlines
What We're Looking For:
- J.D. from an accredited law school
- Licensed in California
- Strong research and writing skills
- Excellent attention to detail
- Ability to think critically and problem-solve independently
- Professionalism, responsiveness, and accountability
- A strong work ethic and desire to grow as a litigator
Clerkship or internship experience in litigation
