Segal McCambridge, a nationally recognized litigation firm, is seeking a driven Associate Attorney with 1+ year of civil litigation experience to join our West LA office. This is an excellent opportunity to work closely with experienced trial attorneys on active litigation files while continuing to develop your skills across a broad range of practice areas.Practice areas include:
- General Civil Litigation
- Employment Law
- Wrongful Death
- Product Liability
- Professional Liability
- Construction Defect Litigation
Key Responsibilities:
- Draft pleadings, motions, discovery responses, and legal memoranda
- Conduct and defend depositions
- Manage discovery and prepare cases for trial
- Attend court hearings, mediations, and settlement conferences
- Interface directly with clients, co-counsel, and opposing counsel
- Assist with trial preparation, strategy, and case management
Qualifications:
- Licensed to practice law in California (required)
- 1+ year of civil litigation experience
- Excellent legal writing and oral advocacy skills
- Strong attention to detail and organization
- Ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines
- Team-oriented with a proactive, solution-driven mindset
