About the role:We are seeking a reliable, detail-oriented Associate Attorney to join our team and handle regular court appearances across New Jersey. The role is ideal for attorneys who are looking to take on meaningful responsibility in landlord-tenant, municipal court, and civil litigation matters, and who are eager to build or expand their own practice over time within a supportive firm environment.
What You'll Do:
- Appear in Superior and Municipal Courts, and especially landlord/tenant courts.
- Draft motions, pleadings, discovery responses, and legal correspondence.
- Communicate with clients, adversaries, and court staff.
- Manage multiple active case files and court calendars.
- Participate in the strategic development of cases from intake through resolution.
Qualifications:
- Must be licensed and in good standing to practice law in New Jersey.
- Strong oral advocacy, legal writing, and case management skills.
- Landlord-tenant experience is aplus, but not required.
- Municipal court or civil litigation experience also helpful.
- Must be organized, dependable, and comfortable with courtroom appearances.
