Description:
Brinker & Doyen, LLP is seeking an Associate Attorney with interest in civil litigation defense. Qualified candidates will be licensed in Missouri and preferably, Illinois.To be successful in this role, you should possess excellent written and oral communication skills, the ability to work independently and manage multiple cases simultaneously, attention to detail and strong organizational skills, a self-starter who takes ownership of executing tasks, and an effective team player.
Responsibilities:
- Meeting with clients, attorneys, and witnesses
- Drafting/reviewing/responding to discovery documents and motions
- Conducting or defending depositions
- Court appearance (in person and via WebEx)
- Performing legal/medical research
- Collaborating with other attorneys and legal professionals on case preparation and strategy
- Capturing billable time
