Thompson Coburn LLP's corporate health care practice area is seeking an associate or counsel. The position offers the opportunity to work on a wide variety of corporate transactions and regulatory matters for health care organizations, including health care systems, hospitals, health insurance companies, long term care providers, physician practices and other health care-related businesses. Ideal candidates will have 4+ years of experience working on regulatory and corporate transactional matters in the health care industry and an in-depth understanding of fraud and abuse, Stark, Medicare reimbursement, hospital-physician relationships, provider-payor relationships and HIPAA. Strong writing, communication, and client service skills are essential. This position is also open to part-time candidates.

All candidates must currently be licensed to practice law in the state in which the office is located. This position is open to recruiters.

The salary range for this position in our Chicago and Washington D.C. offices is $220,000-$300,000. Actual salary will vary and may be above or below the range based on relevant skills, training and other job-related factors. The range listed is just one part of Thompson Coburn's total compensation and benefits package for associates, which includes productivity and discretionary bonuses; life, health, accident and disability insurance; and a 401(k) plan.
