Description:Cohen Law Group is seeking an experienced Plaintiff-Side Litigation Attorney to join our team in the Greater Orlando, Florida area.
This position is well suited for an attorney with experience handling first-party property insurance litigation who is comfortable managing cases throughout the litigation process and working closely with clients, attorneys, and legal support teams.
Qualifications:
- Active membership in good standing with the Florida Bar
- Active membership in good standing with the Georgia Bar
- Resides in the Greater Orlando area
- Experience with first-party property insurance litigation
- Experience managing cases from pre-suit through litigation and resolution
- Strong understanding of civil litigation procedures, discovery, depositions, motions, and trial preparation
- Strong legal research and writing skills
- Ability to independently manage an active caseload
- Strong organization, attention to detail, and case-management skills
- Professional, clear, and effective communication with clients and colleagues
- Commitment to professional and ethical standards
