- We believe in a 1500 hour annual billable quota, instead of 1800, 2000, or 2200 hours.
This position will have you doing the following among other things:
- Limited Scope Engagements: Representing clients attempting to solve their problems, pre-suit, by: reviewing their documents, developing one ore more strategy options, custom drafting attorney demand letters, and negotiating on their behalf. See our website for practice areas.
- Litigation / Arbitration Cases: Managing client cases through the Civil Litigation / Arbitration process, from preparing and filing suit, through discovery phase, and (if applicable) through trial.
Qualifications:
- Prefer 4 to 10 years practice experience in the area of Florida Civil Litigation
- Will consider applicants with at least 3 years practice experience
- Ability to report to work in-person by 8:30 AM
- Juris Doctor and admitted to practice law in Florida state courts
- Excellent written communication skills
- Prefer law graduates in top 1/3rd or better of their class
- Moot Court, Negotiation Team, or Law Review is a plus (but not required)
- Professional appearance
