A well-established Los Angeles law firm seeks an exceptional litigation attorney with 4 to 6 years of experience.

The Role:
This is an opportunity for an experienced litigation attorney to step into a substantive role handling cases from inception through resolution. The successful candidate will manage their own caseload while collaborating closely with partners and fellow associates on larger matters. We are looking for someone who thrives in the courtroom, takes ownership of their files, and is eager to continue developing as a litigator.

Responsibilities:
The attorney in this role will help manage all phases of civil litigation, including case evaluation, strategy development, and execution through trial or resolution. Day-to-day responsibilities include drafting and arguing motions, conducting and defending depositions, managing written discovery, and preparing cases for trial. The attorney will also be expected to take and defend depositions independently, appear at court hearings and conferences, communicate with opposing counsel, communicate directly with clients to provide case updates and strategic counsel, conduct legal research and draft memoranda and briefs.

Qualifications:
Required:
Candidates must have a Juris Doctor from an accredited law school and active membership in good standing with the California State Bar. The position requires four to six years of post-law school experience with litigation in both state and federal court. Candidates must demonstrate extensive hands-on litigation experience, including meaningful participation in depositions and trial work. Strong written and oral advocacy skills are essential, as are excellent organizational abilities and sound professional judgment.

Preferred:
While strong general litigation experience is the focus of this position, experience in intellectual property law, environmental law, and ADA litigation is a plus.

Pay: $140,000.00 - $160,000.00 per year
