A Law Firm Handling Complex Litigation and Transactional Matters is a full-service local government law firm located in Costa Mesa, CA. Since 1976, we have provided expert advice and representation as general counsel and special counsel to cities, counties, and special districts throughout Southern California. We also represent private clients in various practice areas, including Civil Rights, Code Enforcement, Construction, Eminent Domain/Inverse Condemnation, Environmental, Land Use, Labor/Employment, Public Law, Tort Liability, and Transportation.

Role Description:
This is a full-time role for a litigation attorney at A Law Firm Handling Complex Litigation and Transactional Matters. The litigation attorney will be responsible for preparing pleadings and discovery, appearing at hearings, taking and defending depositions, and researching and writing motions. Trial experience and experience with representing public entities a plus. This is a hybrid role, with the primary location being in Costa Mesa, CA, but with flexibility for some remote work.

Qualifications:
  • Law degree from an ABA-accredited law school
  • Licensed to practice law in California
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • 3+ years of litigation experience
  • Case management experience and ability to multitask
