What You'll Do:
- Taking and defending deposition
- Propounding and responding to written discovery
- Drafting pleadings
- Court appearances to present and defend client arguments
- Communications with carriers, clients, and opposing counsel
- Multi-tasking
- Managing time-sensitive documents
- Exceptional organizational skills
- Travel as needed to courts across the Southern Illinois area
Qualifications:
- Law school graduate with 1+ years of experience
- Illinois Bar admission and good standing required
- Demonstrate strong legal research and writing skills
- Genuine interest in litigation and trial practice
- This position offers an excellent opportunity for motivated attorneys to take on substantive legal work early in their careers while receiving mentorship and guidance from experienced trial lawyers.
- Candidates must be willing to obtain a Missouri license, if not already admitted.
