In this role, you will play a vital part in managing personal injury cases from inception through resolution, utilizing your strong research, negotiation, and litigation skills to advocate effectively for our clients. Duties:
- Manage all phases of personal injury litigation, including case investigation, discovery, negotiations, and trial preparation.
- Conduct thorough legal research using LexisNexis to support case strategies
- Draft pleadings, motions, and responses to discovery, and other legal documents with precision and clarity.
- Conduct and defend depositions.
- Negotiate settlements with opposing counsel while advocating fiercely for clients' best interests
Qualifications & Experience:
- Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited law school and admission to the NY state bar
- Proven experience in litigation with a focus on personal injury law is preferred
- Excellent legal drafting and writing skills with attention to detail
- Demonstrated ability to negotiate effectively and manage multiple cases simultaneously
Pay: $75,000.00 - $125,000.00 per year
