A competitive salary and hybrid work schedule will be offered, commensurate with experience and qualifications.
The successful candidate will be expected to handle all aspects of a case including conducting discoveries, corresponding with clients and counsel, deposition practice, motion practice, oral argument, court conferences, mediations/settlement negotiations, and trial preparation.
Duties and Responsibilities:
- Advocate for clients in diverse insurance defense matters, delivering strategic representation across a broad spectrum of claims and disputes.
- Independently manage a full litigation caseload from initial filing through final resolution, demonstrating strong case management and legal acumen.
- Conduct court appearances, depositions, and motion practice with confidence and precision, ensuring effective advocacy at every stage of litigation.
- Maintain consistent and proactive communication with clients, providing timely updates, legal insights, and strategic guidance throughout the case lifecycle.
Qualifications:
- JD from an ABA-accredited law school.
- Licensed to practice law in the State of New York.
- Minimum of one year of experience in insurance defense and general liability litigation.
- Exceptional legal research, writing, and oral advocacy skills.
- Strong academic background coupled with excellent interpersonal and professional communication abilities.
- Proven ability to manage multiple cases and deadlines in a fast-paced legal environment.

Target Hiring Range: $100,000 - $150,000
