Overview:The Woodbury office of Kaufman Dolowich LLP, nationally recognized law firm honored by U.S. News as one of the “Best Companies to Work For – Law Firms,” is seeking an Employment Litigation Associate Attorney with at least one year of experience in commercial and/or employment litigation to join our practice.

Responsibilities:
- Managing a full litigation caseload from inception through resolution
- Communicating directly with clients and providing regular case updates
- Taking and defending depositions
- Handling mediations
- Participating in investigations, court appearances, motion practice, and trials
Qualifications:
- JD degree with excellent academic credentials
- Law Review and/or Moot Court experience is preferred
- 1+ years of experience in commercial and/or employment litigation
- Admittance to practice in New York
- Exceptional writing, research, oral and written communication skills
- Experience handling employment litigation matters, including but not limited to employment discrimination, workplace harassment, wage and hour disputes, and traditional labor law matters is preferred
- Experience handling employment litigation in federal and state wage and hour cases, including collective and class actions is preferred
- Experience handling investigations before the U.S. Department of Labor, the New York State Department of Labor, EEOC and other state and local human rights agencies is preferred
