Position:A International Law Firm that Specializes in Finance, Government Law & Real Estate is seeking highly qualified 3rd – 5th year associates to join the Commercial Litigation group in the New York office.
The team is comprised of high performing, creative thinking trial lawyers. This position will provide an opportunity for greatly accelerated professional development, working directly with the senior members of the group, and require a desire to do the work necessary to capture that opportunity.
The ideal candidates exhibit a passion for courtroom litigation, reflected by a broad body of work in the various stages of litigation and meaningful responsibility. Qualified candidates will have experience conducting discovery, drafting pleadings and motions, witness preparation, and taking / defending depositions.
Qualifications:
Law firm and federal clerkship experience required. Trial experience is highly preferred. Plaintiff side litigation experience is a plus.
Candidates should be enterprising and tenacious, with a primary desire to become a first-chair courtroom lawyer and a willingness to do the work necessary to achieve that goal. Qualifications and experience demonstrating such interest, desire, and ability are paramount considerations.
