The North American Intellectual Property and Technology team seeks an Associate attorney with four to six years of trademark litigation and brand management experience to be located in either our New York or Chicago office. Ideal candidates should have experience handling all aspects of district court and TTAB litigation, including preparing pleadings, drafting and responding to discovery requests, document review management, legal research, motion drafting, and deposition preparation. Extensive experience prosecuting trademark applications, providing trademark availability and registrability analyses both domestically and globally, conducting online investigations, handling routine enforcement and UDRP proceedings is also essential. Familiarity with false advertising, unfair competition and trade secrets claims is strongly preferred.Candidates must also possess top academic credentials, strong analytical ability, and excellent communication and writing skills. We seek candidates that have the ability to function smoothly in a global team environment with culturally diverse team members, and to work well with in-house counsel. It is essential that candidates be admitted to and a member in good standing of the New York or Illinois State Bar, or eligible to become admitted.
