Key Responsibilities:
- Manage civil litigation files from intake through resolution or trial.
- Draft pleadings, dispositive motions, discovery requests, and appellate briefs.
- Conduct and defend depositions, represent clients in hearings, arbitrations, and mediations.
- Communicate directly with commercial clients, business owners, and individuals.
Qualifications:
- J.D. from an accredited law school.
- Active license to practice law in New Mexico (or eligible for immediate admission).
- 3 to 8 years of civil litigation experience (courtroom experience and deposition handling preferred).
- Strong legal research, writing, and analytical skills with a proactive mindset.
