Berluti McLaughlin & Kutchin LLP is seeking a motivated and talented Litigation Associate with 3-5 years of litigation experience to join our Boston or Hingham office. This position offers an excellent opportunity for an attorney looking to develop a sophisticated litigation practice, work directly with clients, and advance within a collegial and growing firm.Our litigation practice concentrates on a broad range of civil matters, including:
- Business and commercial disputes
- Shareholder and partnership litigation
- Contract disputes
- Construction litigation
- Business torts
- Employment litigation, including discrimination and wage-related claims
- Real estate litigation
- Personal injury matters
- Class and complex litigation matters
- Drafting pleadings, motions, and memoranda
- Conducting and responding to written discovery
- Taking and defending depositions
- Participating in court hearings, mediations, and trials
- Legal research and persuasive legal writing
- Direct client communication and case management
Qualifications:
- J.D. from an accredited law school
- Licensed to practice law in Massachusetts
- 3-5 years of civil litigation experience
- Strong academic credentials
- Excellent legal research, writing, and advocacy skills
- Ability to work independently while collaborating effectively with colleagues
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
- Commitment to providing exceptional client service
Compensation is competitive and commensurate with experience with a salary range of $100,000 to $130,000 depending on experience and qualifications. Comprehensive benefits package available, including hybrid work, and discretionary and non-discretionary bonus programs
