We're looking for an associate with 4-6 years of law firm experience and a background in any combination of the following: venture capital financings, private equity transactions, public offerings, mergers and acquisitions, '34 Act compliance, or corporate governance. Candidates need not have experience in every area; we value attorneys who bring depth in one or more of these disciplines and the versatility to grow into others. Experience representing technology or life sciences clients is a plus but not required.
The ideal candidate is a self-starter who thrives in a collaborative, entrepreneurial environment, communicates clearly with clients and colleagues alike, and is ready to take on meaningful responsibility early. Excellent academic credentials and strong analytical, written, and interpersonal skills are essential.
