Simpson & Mena, P.A., a diverse and growing law firm, is seeking a Florida Bar Litigation Associate Attorney with 3+ years of experience to join our team. This is a hands-on role for an attorney who wants meaningful responsibility, client interaction, and exposure to a variety of legal matters.Our litigation practice covers insurance litigation, business and commercial transactions, personal injury, real estate, title & closings, family law, civil litigation, medical malpractice, probate, and trusts & estates.
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage litigation matters from inception through resolution
- Draft pleadings, motions, discovery, and other legal documents
- Conduct research using Westlaw, LexisNexis, and other legal tools
- Participate in hearings, mediations, negotiations, and trial preparation
- Communicate directly with clients and assist with case strategy
Qualifications:
- 3+ years of litigation experience (insurance litigation preferred)
- Strong research, writing, and communication skills
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
- Active member of the Florida Bar
