Who You Are:
  • You are a high-performing junior associate with 2-4 years of experience in commercial, securities, bankruptcy, or other complex litigation at a leading law firm.
  • You are an enterprising, highly motivated lawyer who actively seeks responsibility rather than waiting for it. You want to understand the entire case, take ownership of important workstreams, and become increasingly involved in strategy and decision-making. You are looking for more than a traditional junior associate role on a large litigation team – you want substantive opportunities to develop as an advocate, including taking and defending depositions, preparing and examining witnesses, participating directly in case strategy, and appearing and arguing in court.
  • You have a strong work ethic, intellectual curiosity, and a genuine desire to become an outstanding courtroom lawyer. You are eager to learn, receptive to feedback, and motivated by opportunities to stretch beyond what would ordinarily be expected of an associate at your level.
  • You have experience working on large, sophisticated, fast-moving litigation and investigation teams and are comfortable managing multiple workstreams and competing deadlines in high-stakes matters.
  • You have substantial hands-on experience with complex discovery, including managing document productions, developing case strategy from large factual records, working with witnesses and experts, and coordinating with broader litigation teams.
  • You are an excellent writer and rigorous thinker, with meaningful experience researching complex legal issues and drafting memos, briefs, motions, and other substantive advocacy.
  • You have strong analytical skills and judgment and are able to quickly master complicated factual records, identify the issues that matter, and develop practical and persuasive arguments.
  • Strong academic credentials are valued. Prior bankruptcy experience is preferred but not required. Outstanding commercial or securities litigators interested in developing a bankruptcy litigation practice or pursuing faster moving cases are encouraged to apply.
  • You are admitted to the bar in the jurisdiction in which you practice or are eligible for admission.
