What you can look forward to as a Legal Counsel- Region NA:
- Provide legal advice to the leadership team
- Advise and support business clients on legal matters to identify and effectively communicate risks and provide excellent solutions-oriented legal advice
- Contract drafting, negotiation and advisory responsibilities ranging from standard contracts to one-off transactions
- Advise on quality issues and related claims
- Lead litigation activities; manage outside counsel and budget
- Provide legal advice on a broad range of general corporate matters
- Support compliance investigations, give training and implement initiatives
- Execute and support various special projects including M&A, real estate, licensing, alliances, etc.
- Efficient partnership and management of external counsel/advisors
Your Profile as a Legal Counsel- Region NA:
- Bachelors degree in Law or relatable field
- 5+ years experience as a Legal counsel in business/ automotive environment
- Solid and in-depth knowledge of legal related environment within multinational companies
- Excellent communication and coordination skills to ensure effective team work on various cross functional projects and initiatives
- Excellent knowledge and understanding of commercial law
- High degree of professional ethics and integrity
- Sound judgement and ability to analyze situations and information
- Business and solution-oriented mindset
- Outstanding communication skills
