Summary:
Together with the General Counsel and Chief Information Security Officer (“CISO”), oversee legal requirements for all data privacy, cyber security, and information governance matters for the Company and its subsidiaries and affiliates.
What You'll Do:
- Operates Privacy Office for TAI and affiliates.
- Operates the Information Governance program for TAI and affiliates.
- Develops and maintains current knowledge of applicable cyber security and data privacy laws and standards.
- Assists in the design, development, and implementation of policies and programs to assure compliance with such laws and standards.
- Advises business divisions and corporate departments on managing cyber security, information governance, and data privacy legal risks.
- Helps develop and deliver training and exercises.
- Supports response team on incident preparedness and management.
- Mentors, hires, trains, reviews and supervises employees.
- Other duties as assigned.
What You Need:
- Juris Doctor from American Bar Association accredited law school.
- 6-10 years of experience in law firm or in-house related to the duties and responsibilities specified.
- Member in good standing of the State Bar of a state in which the Company maintains an office.
- Strong experience in all aspects of cyber security.
- Strong experience in establishing and operating a privacy program and knowledge of privacy laws.
- Strong experience in establishing and operating an Information Governance program.
- Ability to prioritize, multi-task, and work effectively both independently and as part of a team.
- Excellent interpersonal and organizational skills
- Must be result-oriented with a high level of integrity and honesty.
- Must be able to regularly exercise independent discretion and judgment within defined policies.
