In this role, you will provide expert legal guidance and support to our business operations in the Americas region. As Legal Counsel, you will play a critical role in advising on a wide range of legal matters, including contracts, compliance, corporate governance, and risk management. This is an exciting opportunity for a proactive and detail-oriented legal professional to contribute to A Top International Reverse Vending and Recycling Company's mission of driving the resource revolution forward.

Role and Responsibilities:
  • Provide legal advice and support to all legal issues worldwide, but mainly in the area of Contract law (Sales and Purchase); Antitrust & Competition law; IP law; Product Liability & Corporate Law.
  • Guide Managers and ensure compliance with the applicable laws and regulations.
  • Draft and implement new standard templates and administer the existing templates.
  • Provide in-house legal training.
  • Liaise and manage external legal advisers.
  • Cooperate with the Group Compliance Officer.
  • Cooperate with the IP Portfolio Managers.
  • Monitor legal developments and take appropriate actions.

Qualifications:
  • Juris Doctor (JD) from an accredited law school and admitted to practice law in good standing in the relevant jurisdiction or equivalent qualifications of other countries.
  • 5+ years of experience practicing law, with a focus on corporate transactions, commercial contracts, and/or regulatory compliance.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to think strategically and provide practical legal advice.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively collaborate with internal stakeholders at all levels of the organization.
  • Demonstrated ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
  • Experience working in a law firm, manufacturing, technology, or environmental industry preferred but not required.
  • Fluent in spoken & written English, Spanish is a plus.
  • Minimal travel of 10% as needed
