Description:

Position Responsibilities: 
  • Review, draft and negotiate a broad range of agreements including, but not limited to, software agreements and other vendor agreements
  • Assist with legal affairs of RH's centralized corporate functions, including Strategic Sourcing, IT, Information Security, Physical Security, Risk Management and work with external counsel
  • Create and maintain forms and standard provisions for legal documents
  • Participate in enterprise-wide legal team meetings and activities including affiliated businesses
  • Understand and support full range of regulatory compliance programs, including state and federal requirements regarding privacy and artificial intelligence
  • Assist with acquisition activities, including due diligence, negotiations, purchase agreement drafting and integration of new businesses
  • Assist with legal review of software platforms, websites, and artificial intelligence use cases.
  • Other projects or duties as assigned

Qualifications:
Required Education and Experience: 
  • Juris Doctorate (J.D.) degree from a respected law school with strong academic record and 3 plus years of law firm experience
  • Admission to a U.S. state bar with an active license and compliance with requirements for in-house practice in the State of Illinois
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office, Excel and PowerPoint
