Job Description:Fragomen is hiring a Law Clerk to support our Dallas, TX office. We are looking for a 2nd year law student interested in gaining experience with the worlds leading global business immigration law firm. This would be a part time, temporary opportunity requiring a minimum of 12-15 hours per week.
Our employees work as part of a team, under the direction of an attorney, representing employers in sponsoring foreign workers for immigration benefits.
Responsibilities:
- Conducting research and drafting petitions
- Drafting government forms
- Preparing visa application packets for filing
- Writing detailed persuasive letters
- Maintaining files
- Reviewing documents
- Identifying issues
- Communicating with clients
Requirements:
- Must be able to write persuasively by combining arguments and facts
- Must be able to analyze issues
- Must have strong organizational and time management skills
- Must have excellent attention to detail
- Should be comfortable working in a fast-paced, high volume environment
- Should be curious and intelligent
- Should possess common sense
