We are currently seeking an attorney with 5-12 years of experience to join its Labor & Employment practice group. The candidate should have some experience in labor and employment litigation and counselling. Candidate must be highly motivated, self-sufficient, and have a high level of dedication and discipline. The salary range for this position would be $155,000 to $260,000, depending on experience.Kronick provides excellent opportunities for attorneys who are entrepreneurial, business minded, and seeking to take the next step in their legal career.
Primary responsibilities involve working regularly with private sector and public agency clients by providing both litigation support and day-to-day guidance and advice on a variety of business and labor and employment matters.
Litigation in all phases of the firm's business and labor and employment practice, including law and motion practice, written discovery, depositions, drafting pleadings, pretrial preparation, witness and exhibit preparation, trial and appeals, etc.
Researching and advising clients on personnel and employment related issues
Qualification Requirements:
- 5-12 years of experience with litigation experience; labor and employment experience a plus.
- Trial experience is a plus.
- Exceptional writing skills and a strong academic background.
- Ability to read, analyze, and interpret complex documents.
- Ability to effectively work with people, exercise sound judgment, and establish and maintain professional relationships with clients and colleagues.
- Ability to multi-task, problem solve and bring projects to completion.
- Ability to lead significant pieces of litigation and work with junior members of trial teams.
- Strong mentoring skills and desire to help other attorneys develop their own careers.
- Entrepreneurial spirit and desire to take career to next level.
- Interest in developing client contacts and independent drive to advance in firm.
