Job Summary:
We are a rapidly growing, tech-forward and successful Plaintiff-Side Labor and Employment Litigation Firm based in Los Angeles, California, seeking a skilled, detail-oriented and aggressive Associate Attorney to work in both our pre-litigation and litigation departments. This is a fully-remote position.

With the help of an experienced litigation paralegal and several other support staff members made accessible to you, you will be trusted to handle labor and employment cases, including single-plaintiff FEHA and wrongful termination matters as well as single-plaintiff wage and hour cases. (PAGA and class action experience is a plus.) You will also work closely with the firm's Managing Attorney.

Required Qualifications:
  • Licensure and Residence: Licensed to practice law and resides in California;
  • Relevant Experience: At least two (2) years of dedicated labor and employment litigation experience (FEHA, wrongful termination, and wage and hour);
  • Detail-Oriented: You are diligent and carefully proofread your work;
  • Writing and Analysis: Strong writing and analytical skills, with experience drafting settlement demand letters, mediation briefs, motions (including MSJs), oppositions, and discovery requests/responses;
  • Litigation Skills: Proven ability to draft pleadings, motions and briefs, take and defend depositions, handle court appearances, perform research, and prepare for and attend trials/arbitration hearings;
  • Sociable: You can relate to clients and defense counsel, and progress cases efficiently;
  • Organization: Highly organized and capable of managing a large caseload; and
  • Tech Proficiency: Comfortable using Word, Adobe, Clio, Google Drive, Gmail, One/First Legal, LexisNexis, and various legal AI tools
