Job Overview:We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Junior Lawyer to join our dynamic legal team. As a Junior Lawyer, you will assist senior attorneys with legal research, drafting documents, and supporting litigation processes. Duties:
Legal Documentation & Compliance
- Draft, review, and finalize loan documentation and related agreements.
- Provide legal research and analysis on compliance, regulatory matters, and lending-specific issues.
- Ensure all documentation aligns with state and federal lending regulations.
- Advise clients on legal strategies, compliance requirements, and potential risks.
- Support litigation and dispute resolution efforts as needed.
- Represent the firm professionally in both virtual and in-person client interactions.
- Work closely with senior attorneys and team members to manage client files.
- Strategize and execute tailored legal solutions to meet client objectives.
- Maintain clear and consistent communication with colleagues and clients.
- Manage tasks efficiently with minimal supervision.
- Prioritize workload to meet deadlines and client expectations.
- Demonstrate a positive, growth-oriented mindset while pursuing professional development.
Qualifications and Requirements:
- Juris Doctor (J.D.) from an accredited American law school.
- Bar Admission (required): Must be admitted to practice law in at least one U.S. state.
- U.S. citizen or permanent resident.
- 1-3 years of post-bar (or license-equivalent) legal experience.
- Strong analytical, organizational, and time management abilities.
- Able to work independently, prioritize tasks, and maintain momentum with minimal supervision.
- Excellent collaboration skills and professional maturity.
- Positive, growth-oriented mindset and willingness to learn and develop professionally.
- Two professional references and a valid criminal background check issued within the last 60 days are required for all successful applicants.
- Completion of intake paperwork, including submission of a valid tax identification number (e.g., Social Security Number, Social Insurance Number, or the country's equivalent), is required before onboarding.
Pay Range: $120,000 - $130,000 annually
