We are a well-established coastal family law firm located in North County San Diego with an immediate opening for a Junior Family Law Attorney with 0–3 years of experience. This Junior Family Law Attorney position is ideal for a newer attorney looking to grow their career in family law within a supportive, team-oriented environment.
As a Junior Family Law Attorney, you will work closely with our experienced attorney team and paralegals on all aspects of family law cases, from Petition to Judgment. No prior litigation experience is required for this Junior Family Law Attorney role.
Key Responsibilities:
- Draft family law court forms and legal documents, including pleadings, agreements, declarations, stipulations, discovery, and MSAs
- Manage case deadlines, calendaring, and case progression
- Potentially appear in court on behalf of clients and the firm when ready.
- Collaborate with attorneys and paralegals throughout the lifecycle of family law matters
- Support case preparation and document review in a fast-paced family law environment
Qualifications:
- 0–3 years of experience as an attorney (family law experience preferred but not required)
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Excellent organizational and time-management abilities
- Experience working with legal forms and court filings
- Familiarity with Clio or other legal case management software is a plus
- Ability to work effectively as part of a legal team
