Description:
We are currently seeking a motivated and talented Junior Attorney with up to 2 years of experience to join our commercial litigation team. The ideal candidate will have a Juris Doctor (J.D.) degree and experience in handling commercial litigation matters. Additionally, candidates must be admitted to the New York Bar or Florida Bar.Responsibilities:
- Assist senior attorneys in all aspects of commercial litigation, including case preparation, legal research, drafting pleadings and motions, and courtroom appearances.
- Conduct legal research and analysis to support litigation strategy and case development.
- Communicate with clients, opposing counsel, and court personnel in a professional manner.
- Prepare and review legal documents, including complaints, answers, discovery requests, and motions.
- Attend depositions, hearings, and trials as necessary.
Qualifications:
- Juris Doctor (J.D.) degree from an accredited law school.
- Admission to the New York Bar or Florida Bar.
- Up to 2 years of experience in commercial litigation.
- Strong legal research and writing skills.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Demonstrated commitment to delivering high-quality legal services.
