A US Law Firm is seeking an International Trade Associate with 2-4 years of experience to join our team. - Experience working for U.S. trade-regulating agencies, particularly the Bureau of Industry and Security (BIS), the Office of Foreign Assets Control (OFAC), or Customs & Border Protection (CBP)..
- Experience in U.S. customs law and import trade compliance, including classification, country of origin, and valuation.
- Experience in export controls and sanctions analysis.
- Candidates must have excellent organizational, analytical, and writing skills, strong interpersonal skills, and the ability to function independently and within a team.
- Candidates should be admitted to the District of Columbia Bar or eligible to waive into the District of Columbia Bar.
- Preference will be given to candidates based in the Washington, DC office; however, candidates located in or willing to relocate to other office locations will also be considered.
