Robins Kaplan LLP seeks an experienced senior patent litigation attorney to join its IP&T practice group, resident in the New York Office. Qualified candidates will have strong academic credentials and at least seven years' experience working on complex IP&T litigation matters, particularly within the area of high-tech, software, hardware, battery, mechanical, and other related technical fields. A technical undergraduate degree is required. Admission to practice before the United States Patent & Trademark Office is preferred. This is a hybrid position and requires working in the office a minimum of three days a week.In addition to strong research and writing skills, successful candidates will be well trained in handling and managing the day-to-day tasks associated with the pretrial, trial, and appellate phases of a lawsuit in federal court and before the Patent Trial and Appeal Board, including drafting pleadings, offensive and defensive written discovery, dispositive motion practice, expert reports, pretrial submissions, and post-trial briefing. Additionally, qualified candidates will have experience taking and defending fact and expert depositions, attend hearings, and, preferably, have appeared at arbitration or trial. Someone with an entrepreneurial spirit who seeks a platform to grow their business and network, with the support of our Marketing and BD team, is a plus.

New York Salary Range: $275K – $310K annual base salary, plus bonus. Experience and other job-related factors will be used to determine compensation.
