Our New York office is conducting search for a mid-level patent litigation associate who is interested in both technology and life sciences to join our growing Intellectual Property & Technology Litigation practice. Qualified candidates will have strong academic credentials and experience in complex intellectual property and technology litigation cases. A bachelor's degree in a major that qualifies the candidate to sit for the United States Patent & Trademark Office bar exam is required. Strong research and writing skills are necessary, along with a demonstrated desire to be a trial lawyer. This is a hybrid position and requires working in the office a minimum of three days a week.Successful candidates will also have strong creative problem solving, interpersonal, organization, planning and communication skills. The ability and willingness to report regularly and effectively with senior attorneys on the team is a must. In addition, the candidate should enjoy the challenge of understanding complex scientific and engineering concepts. They should also be skilled in case management, have the ability to take on assignments and work with team members both efficiently and effectively and with a collegial and entrepreneurial approach. Being capable of shifting focus, adapting to changing priorities, and maintaining professionalism under pressure is required. Individuals who are results-oriented and self-starters with a high level of initiative and work ethic will find themselves at home.
This position provides the opportunity for substantive case work including depositions, motion practice and trial. We'll also provide the training to help the associate become a premier trial lawyer.

The base salary range for this position will be $245K - $275K annually, commensurate with experience.
