Description:

A Full-Service Law Firm has an opening in multiple offices for an Intellectual Property Patent Prosecution Associate. The ideal candidate will have four to six years of patent prosecution and patent application drafting, leading inventor meetings, and developing patent strategy. Experience assisting with patent litigation and/or post grant proceedings a plus. We are not accepting resumes from search firms for this position at this time.

Qualifications: Juris Doctorate (JD) required. Must be licensed to practice in the state where the office resides.

Knowledge, Skills, & Abilities:

Strong academic record and excellent written and oral communication skills required.
Patent preparation and prosecution experience required.
Technical degree required, with preference given to Mechanical Engineering.
USPTO registration required.
