An International Law Firm is seeking a junior associate to join our Intellectual Property Department in our San Francisco or Palo Alto office. We are looking for a highly motivated associate with 2-3 years of IP litigation experience. This role offers the opportunity to work on cutting-edge intellectual property matters within a collaborative and dynamic environment. For positions based in the California offices of An International Law Firm, the salary range is $235,000 to $260,000.Preferred Qualifications / Experience:
- Experience with all aspects of litigation from pre-suit investigation through trial and appeal
- Strong writing skills and experience drafting and reviewing legal documents, including complaints, motions, and discovery requests
- Experience researching legal and technical issues related to patent claims, prior art, and infringement and invalidity issues
- Experience supporting depositions, hearings, expert reports, and trials
- Strong oral communication skills and experience coordinating with clients, experts, and internal teams to develop case strategies
- Experience with patent drafting, prosecution, and strategy
- Law degree from an accredited law school with strong academic credentials
- Admitted to practice in California or another U.S. jurisdiction
- Degree in a technical engineering or science field such as Electrical Engineering, Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Mechanical Engineering or Physics
- Licensed to practice before the USPTO or qualified to sit for the patent bar
