Description:
Dorsey is seeking an experienced Intellectual Property Litigation Associate to join our Boise, Denver, Minneapolis, New York, Salt Lake City, Seattle, or Washington DC office. This attorney will join a team of dedicated associates and partners in Dorsey's growing IP Litigation Practice Group. In this role you will have the opportunity to work on complex copyright and trademark litigation matters in federal courts around the United States and possibly before the PTAB. Specifically, you will handle the following types of tasks for complex litigation matters, primarily copyright and trademark litigation:- written discovery
- invalidity and infringement claim charts and contentions
- brief writing
- depositions
- working with experts
- trial preparation
- appellate work
The following qualifications are required:
- Four to six years of copyright and trademark litigation attorney experience
- A JD degree from an ABA-accredited law school
- The ability to be admitted to the bar in the state of residency
- Strong communication and writing skills
For Denver and Minneapolis applicants only: The salary range for this position is $245,000 - $285,000. Pay is determined based on a variety of factors including, but not limited to, depth of experience in the practice area. The individual hired for this position may have the option of electing a lower billable-hours track with a proportional reduction in salary. Associates are eligible to participate in Dorsey's associate bonus program, subject to the program's conditions and restrictions.
For New York applicants only, the salary range for this position is $300,000 - $350,000. Pay is determined based on a variety of factors including, but not limited to, depth of experience in the practice area. The individual hired for this position may have the option of electing a lower billable-hours track with a proportional reduction in salary. Associates are eligible to participate in Dorsey's associate bonus program, subject to the program's conditions and restrictions.
For Seattle and Washington DC applicants only, the salary range for this position is $255,000 - $295,000. Pay is determined based on a variety of factors including, but not limited to, depth of experience in the practice area. The individual hired for this position may have the option of electing a lower billable-hours track with a proportional reduction in salary. Associates are eligible to participate in Dorsey's associate bonus program, subject to the program's conditions and restrictions.
