Duties Will Include:
- Trademark searching, clearance, prosecution and maintenance of trademark portfolios
- Matters in front of the TTAB – Opposition and Cancellation Proceedings
- Handling and organization of international trademark filings and portfolios
- Investigation and analysis of trademark and copyright infringement
- Copyright registration
- Drafting cease and desist letters
- Drafting license, settlement, coexistence, and assignment agreements involving trademarks and copyrights
- Advertising, promotions, and FDA regulation a plus
- Litigation experience a plus
Qualifications:
- The ideal candidate will have 4-7 years of experience in practicing trademark and copyright law
- The position requires a J.D.
- Bar admission in at least one U.S. State
- Strong organizational, writing, verbal, and research skills
