Description:

Kelley Drye & Warren LLP's Real Estate Practice Group is seeking a highly motivated senior-level associate or Special Counsel with a solid background in real estate finance and lender representation, and the ability to run deals. Ideal candidates will have previous law firm experience, and at least 6 years of experience in commercial mortgage finance, including:
  • Experience representing lenders in the origination, purchase, sale, securitization, refinancing and restructuring of mortgage and mezzanine loans;
  • Experience advising lenders in complex financing arrangements with multiple layers of debt; negotiating co-lender arrangements and intercreditor agreements.

Candidates Must Also Possess:
  • Strong analytical abilities;
  • Excellent client-relation skills and comfort with working with different clients;
  • Proven ability to organize, oversee and prioritize multiple transactions simultaneously; and
  • Top academic credentials and strong interpersonal skills.

We work seamlessly across office lines and are open to considering experienced candidates in any Kelley Drye office but have a strong preference for the candidate to be based in either our New Jersey, New York or Connecticut office locations. Bar admission is required in an attorney's resident and/or affiliated office.

The salary range displayed is specifically for those potential hires who will work or reside in New Jersey, New York or Connecticut if selected for the role. Any offered salary is determined based on internal equity, internal salary ranges, market data/ranges, applicant's skills and prior relevant experience, certain degrees, and certifications (e.g., JD/technology) for example. Salary Range: $300,000 - $355,000. Kelley Drye offers competitive compensation and benefits packages.
