Cozen O'Connor's Global Insurance Department seeks a mid-level associate with significant insurance coverage experience to join the New York office. The ideal candidate will have experience analyzing insurance coverage, preparing coverage opinions and litigating first party claims concerning multiple lines of coverage and bad faith claims. The candidate will have litigation experience, including taking depositions, attending court hearings, and drafting and arguing motions. Strong research, writing, and analytical skills are required. Admission to NY required; NJ admission a plus.Cozen O'Connor is internationally recognized as a leader in insurance coverage. Our coverage team advises insurance industry clients on complex matters throughout the United States and the world. We represent insurance clients in litigation involving all lines of coverage, as well as bad faith.
The salary range for this role is $220,000 - $240,000 and represents the Firm's good faith and reasonable estimate of the range of possible compensation at the time of posting. Actual compensation will be dependent upon a number of factors, including but not limited to, the candidate's relevant experience, qualifications, and location.
