Overview:We are seeking a entry level immigration removal defense attorney to join our team. This attorney will manage a caseload involving removal defense, asylum, cancellation of removal, waivers and related matters.
Duties:
- Represent clients in removal proceedings before EOIR, including master calendar and individual hearings.
- prepare and file motions, appeals and briefs before immigration courts, USCIS, and the Board of immigration Appeals.
- Worl closely with clients to gather evidence, prepare testimony and build strong case records.
- Stay up to date on changes in immigration Law, regulations, and policies affecting removal defense.
- Collaborate with firm attorneys and staff to ensure high quality and efficient legal service.
Qualifications:
- JD degree from an accredited law school.
- Licensed to practice law in any U.S state
- Knowledge of immigration law
