Overview:
De La Rosa Law is seeking a motivated and experienced Immigration Attorney to join our growing team. The ideal candidate will have a minimum of 3 years of experience handling a variety of family-based and employment-based immigration matters. This is an excellent opportunity for an attorney who is detail-oriented, client-focused, and passionate about helping individuals and businesses navigate the U.S. immigration system.

Responsibilities:
  • Manage a caseload of family-based and employment-based immigration matters from start to finish.
  • Prepare, review, and file:
  • I-130 Petitions
  • Adjustment of Status (AOS) applications
  • I-601A Provisional Unlawful Presence Waivers
  • I-140 Immigrant Petitions
  • PERM Labor Certification cases (preferred, but not required)
  • Conduct client consultations and develop case strategies.
  • Prepare legal briefs, responses to Requests for Evidence (RFEs), and other USCIS filings.
  • Communicate with clients regarding case updates and documentation requirements.
  • Ensure all filings are accurate, complete, and submitted in a timely manner.
  • Stay current on changes to immigration laws, policies, and procedures.

Requirements:
  • Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited law school with active bar admission in relevant jurisdiction
  • Proven experience practicing immigration law with a strong understanding of federal regulations and procedures
  • Familiarity with related legal areas such as estate planning, environmental law, landlord-tenant law, family law, securities law, workers' compensation law, personal injury law, tribal law & regulations, litigation, patent law
  • Proficiency in legal research platforms such as Westlaw and LexisNexis; experience with legal drafting and writing skills essential
  • Demonstrated negotiation skills to advocate effectively for clients' interests
  • Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple cases simultaneously in a fast-paced environment
  • Prior legal administrative experience is preferred but not required
