Role Description:This is a full-time on-site role for an Immigration Attorney in Houston, TX. The Immigration Attorney will be responsible for providing legal advice and representation to clients in matters related to immigration law. This includes assisting clients with visa applications, employment-based immigrant and nonimmigrant visa petitions, family-based green card applications, naturalization, and other immigration processes. The Immigration Attorney will also represent clients in immigration court proceedings and work closely with immigration agencies and government officials.
Qualifications:
- Juris Doctor (J.D.) degree from an accredited law school
- Active license to practice law in Texas or in any of the US states
- Prior experience practicing immigration law
- Strong knowledge of U.S. immigration laws, regulations, and procedures
- Excellent research, writing, and analytical skills
- Ability to effectively communicate complex legal concepts to clients
- Strong organizational and time management skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
Note: Bilingual skills in English and Spanish are preferred but not required.
