- Drafting motions, responses, pleadings, and legal memoranda.
- Conducting legal research and developing litigation strategy.
- Managing written discovery and preparing discovery responses.
- Taking and defending depositions.
- Preparing witnesses and experts.
- Appearing at hearings and court conferences.
- Assisting with mediation preparation and negotiations.
- Preparing cases for trial and participating in trial proceedings.
- Communicating directly with clients, opposing counsel, and experts.
- Managing an active litigation docket with increasing independence.
Qualifications:
Qualified candidates should possess:
- Juris Doctor from an accredited law school.
- Active license to practice law in Texas.
- One to three years of civil litigation experience.
- Excellent legal research and writing skills.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
- Outstanding oral advocacy and communication skills.
- Ability to manage multiple cases and deadlines effectively.
- Professionalism, initiative, and a strong work ethic.
