Boutique Immigration Law Firm in Houston, Texas seeks an Immigration Attorney ready to make a positive impact as we work to unite families.

No overwhelming billable hours expectations (we do not bill time). We work together as a team to accomplish the financial targets we set as a firm. Almost every case we open is a fixed fee for a specific scope of work.
Job Responsibilities:
- Consultations - Track on close rate and lead quality metrics. Follow up on notes, emails, perform shadowing, debriefing with the director or owner.
- Accompany clients to interviews at the USCIS Field Office, Asylum Office, Immigration Courts.
- Represent clients in removal and bond proceedings and appeals to the BIA.
- Prepare forms, briefs, cover letters with legal analysis and arguments, motions, and immigration packets for submission, as needed.
- Review for quality, give feedback and sign immigration packets, motions and briefs.
- Research and perform technical legal writing, as needed.
- Keep abreast of the current changes in immigration law.
- Train and teach the team to help them grow their knowledge of the practice area.
- Work closely with paralegals in case review and preparation.
- Other duties as assigned.
