Our practice focuses on removal defense and complex immigration matters involving USCIS, the Department of State (DOS), and the Department of Labor (DOL). Our attorneys appear before immigration courts nationwide and are dedicated to delivering expert legal advocacy with care and integrity.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Represent clients in removal proceedings before Immigration Courts and the Board of Immigration Appeals
  • Conduct detailed client interviews and assess case eligibility and strategy
  • Draft legal documents including briefs, motions, affidavits, and memos
  • Research legal precedents, statutes, and regulations related to immigration law
  • Provide sound legal advice and explain complex procedures and options to clients
  • Collaborate with senior attorneys and legal support staff to manage caseloads
  • Stay current with developments in immigration law and policy
  • Participate in consultations, hearings, and case review meetings
  • Manage a dynamic caseload and meet time-sensitive deadlines

Qualifications:
  • Juris Doctor (JD) from an ABA-accredited law school
  • Active bar admission in Maryland, Florida, California, or willingness to obtain admission in one of those states
  • Minimum of 2 years of experience practicing immigration law, with a focus on removal defense
  • Strong research, writing, and litigation skills
  • Excellent verbal and written communication abilities
  • Bilingual fluency in Spanish is strongly preferred
  • Demonstrated commitment to immigrant rights, social justice, and advocacy
  • Ability to work both independently and as part of a collaborative legal team

Preferred Qualifications:
  • Licensed in West Virginia, Pennsylvania, Maryland, Florida, or California
  • Multilingual abilities in Spanish and Portuguese are a plus
  • Experience working with case management systems and client databases
