Build and Lead an Immigration Practice—without the Stress of Running a FirmWeinstein Legal Team Is Seeking an Experienced Immigration Attorney to Establish and Lead a New Immigration Law Department from Our Fort Lauderdale Office. South Florida's Diverse Communities Need Knowledgeable, Responsive, and Compassionate Counsel, and We Are Looking for A Leader Who Understands that Immigration Law Is Both Legally Complex and Deeply Personal.
This Is a Practice-Building Opportunity for An Attorney Who Wants Genuine Autonomy without The Operational Burden of Owning a Law Firm. You Will Shape the Department, Establish Its Procedures, Help Build Its Team, and Guide Its Growth While Benefiting from The Firm's Brand, Infrastructure, Technology, Marketing, Intake, Billing, and Administrative Support.
What You'll Do:
- Launch, Develop, and Lead the Firm's Immigration Law Department.
- Independently Manage Immigration Matters Within Your Established Areas of Experience.
- Evaluate Prospective Clients and Develop Responsible Legal Strategies.
- Represent Clients Before Uscis, Immigration Courts, and Other Applicable Agencies.
- Oversee Petitions, Applications, Motions, Briefs, and Supporting Documentation.
- Establish Scalable Workflows and Quality-Control Standards.
- Train Future Team Members and Develop Community and Professional Referral Relationships Throughout South Florida.
Who We're Looking For:
- Active License in Good Standing in At Least One United States Jurisdiction and Eligibility to Practice Federal Immigration Law.
- At Least Five Years of Substantive Immigration-Law Experience.
- Ability to Independently Manage Matters from Consultation Through Final Disposition.
- Strong Legal Writing, Analysis, Advocacy, and Client-Communication Skills.
- Spanish Fluency Strongly Preferred.
- Portable Book of Business or Demonstrated Ability to Generate Business Strongly Preferred.
- Eoir Litigation Experience Strongly Preferred if Overseeing Removal-Defense Matters.
Compensation and Opportunity
- $100,000–$130,000 Annual Base Salary, Commensurate with Experience Plus Commission for Originated and Handled Cases.
