Description:
A Full Service Law Firm is seeking an experienced attorney to join its Healthcare Law Group. Ideal candidates will have two to five years of experience in medical malpractice defense and/or health care litigation. Experience in health care regulatory and compliance matters is a plus. Candidates must possess superior research and writing skills, strong interpersonal skills, a strong interest in medical care and conditions, an understanding of medical records, a high degree of professionalism and a proven willingness to manage a challenging workload within a fast-paced environment.Requirements:
- 2-5 years of litigation experience
- Must be licensed to practice in the State of Utah
- Trial experience preferred
Duties and Responsibilities:
- Managing case deadlines
- Identifying and retaining necessary expert witnesses
- Preparing discovery requests and responses
- Defending and taking depositions of fact witnesses, medical providers, and expert witnesses
- Maintaining case file organization
- Strong attention to detail and precision
- Preparing pre-trial and dispositive motions
- Must possess a strong work ethic and demonstrate a history of effectively working independently and delivering a consistent work product
